We receive regular visits from a wide range of groups which include;

  • Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown,
  • National Botanical Gardens, Teagasc,
  • Dunlaoghaire and Rathdown Co. Council,
  • Office of Public Works, Phoenix Park,
  • Dublin City Council,
  • Green Communities, An Taisce,
  • Stewarts Hospital, Palmerstown,

These groups are given an informative tour of the facilities, and receive training in the pruning, growing, and propagation of Top fruit and Soft Fruit.

We have occasional visits from schools in the Dublin area, and smaller groups, which include single parent groups, and local community growers.
We also have numerous individual visits from growers and horticultural enthusiasts, wishing to get advice on a wide range of horticultural subjects.

We are currently planning visits for the Elderly through the UCD Enactus program, to help break isolation in Retirement Homes, and allow students to integrate with the wider community in the course of their college life.

With the recent setup of our community garden and apiary, we expect to receive more requests from outside groups in the near future, to visit Rosemount.
